Welcome to the Backroad Grill, established in 2000, as a neighborhood gathering place to enjoy delicious food in a casual and inviting setting.
Juli Bless and Janet Bless are owners of our family operated business. "Family" obviously means that we are not a chain and therefore can take liberty with our menu and ambiance. What distinguishes us from other restaurants is consistently high quality food coupled with a return to the tradition of early American restaurants that provided "home cooking away from home." We have recently opened a new room - Detour at Backroad - a warm and lively area to meet, enjoy an appetizer, glass of wine, a beer, or perhaps a scrumptious dessert and coffee.
Let me introduce my family: Jon (my son) is your Chef. He plans and prepares the menu including "specials" which are created based upon the availability of the freshest ingredients. Lisa (my daughter), and her serving crew strive to make sure that your dining experience meets your expectations. Juli (my daughter), prepares the desserts and soups, plans catering menus, and oversees the stocking of our pantry.
